Biography

Shannon Klisch is an Academic Coordinator for the Youth, Families, and Communities Program at the University of California Cooperative Extension (UCCE) in San Luis Obispo & Santa Barbara Counties. She has 19 years of experience in community health education and a Master’s in Public Health. Shannon's areas of work include improved school and community health and wellness, food and nutrition security and food safety, and community and youth engagement. Shannon has extensive experience and training in facilitation, collaboration, and program management. Her goals are to promote health for all community members through collaborative partnership; community and youth engagement; education; and policy, systems, and environmental changes.
